Fertility Workup & Diagnostics
The right tests in the right order — answers in weeks, not months.
The right tests, in the right order — never the kitchen sink.
A focused diagnostic workup is the difference between guessing and knowing. Dr. Ghadir's evaluation pairs a complete hormonal picture with imaging, anatomy, and partner factors — so your treatment plan rests on data, not assumption.
- Patients trying to conceive for 12+ months (or 6+ months if over 35).
- Anyone with irregular cycles, painful periods, or known reproductive conditions.
- Couples evaluating both partners before treatment.
- Patients seeking a second opinion on a previous workup.
- Full hormonal panel, imaging, and partner evaluation read by Dr. Ghadir personally — not handed off.
- In-house lab with same-day or next-day results on critical bloodwork.
- On-site ultrasound and gynecoradiology suite — no shuttling between facilities.
- A written summary in plain language, mapped to specific next steps.
- 01History & intakeA thorough review of cycle patterns, prior pregnancies, surgeries, medications, and family history.
- 02Hormonal panelAMH, FSH, estradiol, LH, TSH, prolactin, and progesterone — timed correctly within your cycle.
- 03Pelvic ultrasoundAntral follicle count, uterine evaluation, and screening for fibroids, polyps, or endometriomas.
- 04HSG or saline sonogramConfirms tubal patency and uterine cavity contour. Performed on-site by Dr. Ghadir.
- 05Semen analysisCount, motility, morphology, and DNA fragmentation when indicated.

A complete workup is typically finished within two to four weeks — limited only by cycle timing. You'll leave the review visit with a single-page summary of findings, a recommendation, and clearly stated alternatives.
Some patients want every test on day one; others prefer a staged approach. Dr. Ghadir is direct about which tests change the plan and which are academic. Insurance coverage varies — we verify benefits and out-of-pocket before any test is ordered.
