Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Specialized investigation and treatment for couples who have experienced multiple losses.

In short

Investigation and treatment after multiple losses.

Recurrent pregnancy loss is one of the most painful experiences in fertility care. The good news: most causes can be identified, and most couples go on to have healthy pregnancies.

Who this is for
  • Couples who have experienced two or more pregnancy losses.
  • Patients with a history of unexplained losses in the first or second trimester.
  • Couples carrying chromosomal rearrangements.
  • Patients with autoimmune or thrombophilia concerns.
Why patients choose this with Dr. Ghadir
  • Comprehensive RPL workup that goes beyond the basics.
  • Coordinated care with maternal-fetal medicine and rheumatology when needed.
  • Genetic testing of embryos when chromosomal causes are identified.
  • Compassionate, unhurried follow-through after pregnancy is achieved.
The process
  1. 01
    Workup
Karyotype, uterine evaluation, hormonal, immunologic, and thrombophilia testing as indicated.
  2. 02
    Diagnosis
We tell you exactly what we found — and what remains unexplained.
  3. 03
    Treatment plan
From corrective surgery to genetic testing of embryos to anticoagulation, depending on cause.
  4. 04
    Pregnancy support
Closer monitoring through the first trimester, with rapid response when needed.
What to expect

An RPL workup typically takes 4–6 weeks. Even when no clear cause is found, the great majority of couples go on to a healthy live birth with appropriate care.

Risks & considerations

Up to half of recurrent losses remain unexplained even after thorough workup. We do not chase unproven treatments — but we do not give up either.

Sometimes — especially when chromosomal screening of embryos can change the outcome.
What are my chances of a healthy pregnancy?+
For most couples, the long-term odds remain strongly in your favor with the right plan.
